You will be responsible to support account manager to drive commercial business growth within a defined territory in the UK and Ireland. This challenging role will require you to balance a range of responsibilities with the key focus to identify and develop both new opportunities and existing accounts. You will be part of a sales team that is supported by a talented team of applications and marketing specialists.
This position is ideal for an entry level sales professional. If successful, you will join a close-knit team of sales, marketing and technical specialists that form an important part of this rapidly expanding global company.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Support account manager to actively identify, develop and expand the sales of COMSOL Multiphysics software to commercial organizations within the UK & Ireland.
2. Proactively identify, engage, and develop new business accounts via leads from conferences, exhibitions, LinkedIn, cold calls and other marketing campaigns.
3. Working closely with account manager, SDR and marketing team to generate new leads, actively identifying and reaching out to potential new customers.
4. Assist account manager to maintain ongoing relationships and grow existing customers through regular phone outreach and support account manager to organize and deliver regular onsite and virtual presentations and workshops.
5. Create and deliver presentations with the support of the technical team at public seminars, customer meetings and professional conferences.
6. Support account manager to achieve sales quota for the nominated accounts within a defined territory and support the commercial sales team to achieve team quota.
7. Work closely with other members of the commercial sales team and provide support to the UK Sales Manager.
8. Manage and qualify all sales opportunities within the CRM, maintaining accurate records to support pipeline progression and sales forecasting.
Minimum Qualifications
9. Bachelor’s degree.
10. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
11. Strong business awareness and excellent in time management.
12. Driven, self-motivated and strong negotiation skills.
13. Ability and willingness to travel.
14. Eligible to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
15. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
16. Previous or current involvement or interactions with technology-based companies, research organizations, or technical academic institutions.
17. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
18. Driving licence/Eligible to drive in the UK.
