We offer a high-quality cafe experience along with special event facilities for hire, aiming to create memorable moments for our guests.*Summary*We are seeking a dedicated, fun and entertaining Bus Driver to join our team at Bassenthwaite Lake Station. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting our guests on an afternoon tea double decker bus tour around the north lakes. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring and creating happy memories and a unique afternoon tea experience.*Responsibilities** Safely operate the bus according to scheduled routes and timings.* Ensure the enjoyment, comfort and safety of passengers during transit.* Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking as needed.* Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bus interior.* Communicate effectively with the cafe team regarding passenger needs.* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.* Support the Tour Supervisor in their duties and be part of a small, happy team delivering a great experience.*Requirements** Valid bus driving licence for PCVs is required.* Proven experience as a bus driver or in a similar role is essential.* Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.* Some knowledge of basic bus mechanics will be most useful.* Good time management skills and reliability.* Being fun and entertaining is crucial!If you are passionate about providing excellent service as part of a great team and enjoy driving for this unique and fun experience, we invite you to apply today and become an integral part of our team at Bassenthwaite Lake Station!There are two part-time positions available with the prospect of additional hours as the service is launched.
