Key Responsibilities: * Managing Complex Medical Needs: Providing specialised care for individuals with complex needs such as tracheostomies, ventilators, PEG Feeding, and other complex medical needs. * Providing Personal Care: Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, always maintaining dignity and respect. * Administering Medication: Safely and accurately administering medication, following prescribed protocols and maintaining detailed records. * Monitoring and Reporting: Observing and documenting changes in service users’ conditions and, communicating any concerns to the clinical team. * Emotional Support: Building strong relationships with service users and their families, providing emotional support. * Promoting Independence: Encouraging service users to participate in activities and decision-making. The ideal Complex Care Care Assistant has proven care experience and is passionate about helping others and committed to delivering high-quality care and support. You’ll be a reliable and honest team player with strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure accurate record-keeping.
