Job Purpose: The Technical Operator is responsible for performing various quality checks and tasks to ensure the production of high-quality, safe, legal, and authentic bottled water products that meet GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) standards and other applicable requirements. This role involves contributing to operational excellence and supporting the Quality Management System (QMS) on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
* General day to day tasks:
* Operation of Production Machinery
* FLT training is preferable but not a necessity as training provided.
* Line Quality Checks
* Hygiene Tasks
* Manual Handling
* Working within a team.
* Shift Work required after initial training.
* QMS Support:
* Contribute to the continuing development and implementation of the QMS.
* Ensure compliance with GFSI for Manufacturing and other applicable standards.
* Safety and Compliance:
* Contribute to a "right first time" culture to improve safety & quality.
* Be aware of safety and logistical concerns related to manual processes.
* Ensure appropriate PPE is worn when working in the factory.
* Adhere to good manual handling and health and safety practices.
* Ensure the corresponding Risk Assessment has been read and understood.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience in Manufacturing is preferable.
* Ability to accurately record data and identify non-conforming products.
* Basic Computer Skills.

* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Problem-solving skills for addressing quality & machinery issues.
