Role Overview
* Come in and pick up a book of clients from a retiring advisor in a great Newcastle office
* Provide holistic financial planning advice to new and existing clients
* Come in and grow this book to cover the North East region
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Advice
* Conduct client fact-finds to understand financial circumstances, goals, and risk profile
* Review existing arrangements and recommend suitable solutions
* Clearly explain recommendations, including risks and benefits
* Prepare suitability reports using standard templates
Client Management
* Deliver a high-quality client experience throughout the lifecycle
* Conduct regular reviews and maintain long-term relationships
* Complete compliant annual reviews and maintain accurate records
Business Development
* Meet targets for new business and service KPIs
* Generate and convert new client opportunities
* Support promotion of central investment propositions
Collaboration
* Work with internal teams (e.g. paraplanners, admin, compliance)
* Maintain accurate and compliant client documentation
Compliance & Standards
* Adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. FCA rules)
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and market trends
* Hold and maintain appropriate professional accreditation (e.g. SPS)
Requirements
Qualifications
* Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
* Competent Adviser Status and current SPS
Experience & Knowledge
* Broad knowledge of financial planning (investments, pensions, tax, protection)
* Experience delivering advice (including remote/virtual meetings)
* Familiarity with financial planning tools (e.g. cashflow modelling)
* Strong relationship management skills
