Key accountabilities:
Manage and improve an Integrated Management System (IMS) in conjunction with the HSE Manager that meets and is certified to the requirements of ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO Environmental) and ISO Health and Safety).
Provide effective leadership of the Quality Control function and its staff.
Champion, support, and lead quality improvement initiatives, including determining training needs and providing quality information for all employees.
Develop and report on KPIs for the function.
Ensure business compliance with current and future quality legislation, customer specifications and any other quality related initiatives or requirements to which the business may subscribe.
Develop, maintain, and advise on quality processes, systems, and procedures.
Undertake regular and routine internal audits to ensure compliance to quality standards.
Ensure prompt reporting and appropriate actions relating to quality issues and concerns.
Implement agreed corrective actions promptly.
Manage the investigation process for all Customer Complaints, Supplier concerns and Internal improvement opportunities.

Ideal qualifications for the role:
* Ideally A level or equivalent educated in a science or technical based subject or qualified by experience
* Good working knowledge of Quality Tools (8D, FMEA, 6 Sigma etc)
* ISO 9001 Internal Auditor
