About the Role: To oversee all operations, directing and organising all activities to ensure that the planned work is delivered on time; and monitoring that performance meets recognised standards of productivity, quality and compliance with essential health and safety provisions. Location: Leyland, Lancashire Hours: 50 hours per week, 06.30am-16:30pm, Monday to Friday Salary: £39,416 per annum Responsibilities – but not limited to: Maintain own levels of skills and knowledge to do the job effectively, Ensure all clients set KPI’s and SLA’s are maintained or exceeded each month. Ensure planning is completed each day ensuring we are getting the most out of the resource we have available to us. Submit accurate records into the sales sheet for works completed each day, ensuring all information is correct, accurate and within budget. Ensuring we are looking to reduce costs were possiable to ensure we are reducing our weekly costs. This is to be tracked weekly and a log to be kept providing data at the end of the financial year should it be required. Where shifts have been lost, we must look at all options available to us to recoup these where possible. Experience and qualifications required for the role: Qualifications: Able to drive and have a full current, valid driving licence Ability to manage a budget. Ability to lead and motivate people. Computer Literate Must have commercial awareness and understand basic business finance e.g., Capital revenue expenditure, cash-flow, overheads, etc. Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively, particularly to external parties such as the client, their customers, and local authorities. Must have the skills and confidence to coordinate site requirements and tasks. Experience: Proven experience in leading a delivery team. Behavioural Competencies: Possess a clear focus on high quality and control of costs. Reliable, tolerant and be able to get on with others. Should be well presented and professional. Technical Competencies: Understanding health and safety legislation. In depth knowledge of street works regulations.
