The Role:
As a Welder you will
1. Understand technical plans and have good maths skills for working out measurements
2. Inspect and test cuts and joins, using precision measuring instruments
3. Perform welding and fabrication tasks to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
4. Meet set targets whilst working on the production line
5. Ensure the safe and controlled movement of production parts
6. Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
7. Other Welder duties as required
Hours of work:
8. 40 hours weekly
9. Mon - Thurs -
Requirements for the suitable Welder:
Essential
10. Previous experience working in an engineering manufacturing / welding environment
11. Experience using MIG, TIG, or other welding techniques.
12. Experience working in heavy engineering industry
13. Strong practical and technical skills with a focus on quality work
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
14. Self-motivated and high energy
15. Ability to work within a team
16. Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities
