What You Will Do:
: Provide expert advice and guidance on all employee relations matters, ensuring best practices are followed in line with company policies and legal standards.
: Support managers with absence management, including conducting review meetings and coordinating long:term absence cases with Occupational Health.
: Act as the first point of contact for maternity, paternity, adoption, and flexible working cases, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
: Manage day:to:day HR activities, including onboarding new starters, processing leavers, and handling contractual changes.
: Assist with recruitment activities, supporting interviews, and delivering the companys induction programme for new employees.
: Contribute to HR:related projects and initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with the companys goals.
What You Will Bring:
: Proven experience in a similar HR role, with a solid understanding of employment law and HR practices.
: CIPD qualification or working towards it is desirable.
: Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast:paced environment.
: Experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is advantageous, as is exposure to unionised settings.
