Overview
We are looking for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor focusing on the water industry. You'll be responsible for carrying out legionella risk assessments manually and electronically, ensuring that risk assessment paperwork and reports are completed correctly and returned, and performing other operational work from time to time to meet contractual commitments.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out legionella risk assessments manually and electronically.
* Ensuring timely completion and return of risk assessment paperwork and reports.
* Undertaking other operational duties as required to meet contractual obligations.

* Technical guidance documents of HSG274
* British Standard code of practice for Risk assessing BS8580-1 2019
* Health Technical Memorandum 04-01: SafeWater in Healthcare Premises
Desired Experience & Qualifications
* Qualification in a City and Guilds Risk Assessing course (or equivalent).
* Experience in Legionella risk assessing.
* Wide knowledge of the above risk assessment guidelines.
* Experience working in the water treatment industry.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety.
Essential Skills & Attributes
* Commercially aware with strong planning skills.
* High IT literacy and ability to use a PDA to evidence compliance and productivity.
* Capability to draw schematic diagrams.
* Full UK driver’s licence with less than 6 points.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
