About the role
Our Life Science Insurance Broker will be responsible for advising and securing appropriate insurance coverage for clients within the Life Sciences industry, including Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Healthcare & Clinical Research companies.
This new role will involve risk assessment, policy negotiation, and client relationship management to ensure tailored insurance solutions that meet the specific needs of Medtech & Life Science businesses.
What you'll get up to:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the Life Sciences sector.
* Assess clients’ risk exposures and provide tailored insurance solutions.
* Provide expert guidance on industry-specific risks such as Product Liability, Clinical Trials, & Professional Indemnity.
* Handle client queries, policy renewals, and mid-term adjustments efficiently.
* Conduct risk assessments to identify potential liabilities in Medtech & Life Science operations.
* Work with insurers to develop specialised coverage solutions, including bespoke wordings.
* Negotiate policy terms, coverage limits, and premiums with underwriters.
* Ensure competitive pricing and appropriate coverage for clients.
* Stay updated on emerging risks in Medtech, Biotech, Pharmaceuticals, and Medical Innovations.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and underwriters.
About you:
* Experience in insurance broking &/or underwriting within Medtech & Life Science.
* Proven ability to negotiate with insurers and structure tailored coverage solutions.
* Excellent communication, client relationship, and advisory skills.
* Attention to detail in policy documentation and compliance matters.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Strong knowledge of Commercial insurance products.
* Cert CII qualification.
