Job Description

Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Hybrid - Primarily Work from Home (6-8 days per month in London or Bedfordshire, TBC)

Contract: Full-time

Salary: £50,000 per annum OTE £75,000

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver new business sales in the UK, selling SaaS screening services to meet client needs.
* Report on innovations that add value and increase sales.
* Identify new ways to meet targets and objectives.
* Travel to meet potential clients.
* Contribute to team goals and collaborate with marketing, sales, and account management.
* Prepare and configure product demonstrations.
* Handover documentation to onboarding and account management teams.
* Develop innovative product promotion ideas.
* Support account management in resolving customer issues related to products and sales.
* Create marketing materials to encourage purchases.
* Analyze competitors and report SWOT insights.
* Attend promotional events.
* Engage with customers to identify needs and resolve concerns.
* Follow internal administrative and accounting processes, suggesting improvements.


About You

* Experience in business development and acquiring new clients.
* Understanding of the sales process.
* Ability to present and demonstrate products effectively.
* Proficient with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot), Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel.
* Confident using LinkedIn and Sales Navigator for research and contact management.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage priorities.
* Positive, adaptable, solutions-focused attitude.
