Overview
The Dynamics 365 Application Manager is responsible for the configuration and changes to the newly implemented D365 F&O ERP solution, reporting into the Senior Configuration Manager. They work closely with the Finance Business Systems team, developers and testers to ensure the system meets the business needs. The role will grow to be responsible for other business applications over time. This is a hybrid role, working from the High Wycombe office 1-2 times per week. 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri.
Responsibilities
* Manage the configuration of D365 F&O and other Finance & Procurement systems for Biffa, working closely with the business to maximise value from the applications
* Manage a team of up to 3 application analysts, providing training and career development
* Lead the technical design of system enhancements, extensions, and integrations using industry-standard tools
* Define the configuration management process and establish/maintain the configuration baseline used for development, testing, and deployment
* Collaborate with business leads to plan configuration and development needs over a rolling 12-month horizon and manage team capacity to deliver changes
* Provide 3rd line technical support and troubleshooting for system issues, coordinating with internal IT, vendor support, and other vendors as needed
Essential requirements
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, system analysis or a related field
* Experience in configuring and managing D365 F&O
* Experience with Power Platform is preferred but not essential
* Strong knowledge of enterprise applications functionality, architecture, and development tools
* Proficient in using industry tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) to track configuration changes through an Agile lifecycle
