Corporate Tax Senior / Assistant Manager - Exeter
Clark Wood is currently working with a highly regarded and rapidly expanding firm of chartered accountants in the South West who are seeking a driven and ambitious Corporate Tax Senior or Assistant Manager to join their established and growing corporate tax team.

In this role, you will work closely with experienced corporate tax specialists and the wider multi-disciplinary tax team, supporting on a broad range of compliance and advisory assignments.
Responsibilities
* Prepare corporation tax computations and returns
* Undertake technical research
* Assist with capital allowances, R&D claims, transactional tax work, and due diligence projects
* Help deliver restructuring and planning assignments
* Manage projects to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
* Support and mentor junior team members as they develop technical capabilities
* Engage in regular client interaction and maintain strong working relationships
* Collaborate with colleagues across audit and other service lines
* Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives (optional)
Qualifications
* At least two years’ experience in a corporate tax compliance role
* ATT/CTA or ACA/CTA qualified (or part-qualified with a strong desire to continue studying)
* Solid technical knowledge with excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Effective deadline management and strong interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly
* Experience with Alphatax would be advantageous
