Agriculture & Rural Property Lawyer
Somerset
A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a skilled lawyer to join a thriving Agriculture & Rural Affairs team at a leading multi-office Somerset firm. If you're passionate about countryside matters and want to work with a diverse client base across farming, land, and rural estates then this role offers variety, challenge, and long-term career potential.
You'll handle a broad caseload covering everything from land transactions and agricultural tenancies to succession planning and rural compliance. Expect to advise on regulatory and planning issues, draft and negotiate contracts, and work closely with clients to deliver practical, tailored legal solutions.
This role suits someone with at least 3 years' PQE and solid experience in agricultural or rural property law. You'll be confident managing files independently, commercially minded, and committed to delivering excellent client service. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach are key, as you'll be working closely with colleagues across departments.
In return, you'll join a supportive and forward-thinking team, benefit from ongoing professional development, and enjoy a varied workload that reflects the evolving landscape of rural law.
