Are you a recent or soon-to-be graduate looking to take your first step into the world of education?
We’re proud to be working with a range of welcoming and supportive Primary schools in Guildford who are looking for creative and passionate graduates to join their teams this September. Whether your degree is in Psychology, English, Maths, Drama, Sports Science, Fine Art, Literature or a related subject, this is a fantastic opportunity to put your skills to use while gaining hands-on experience in the classroom.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Supporting pupils in class, in small groups, or 1:1
2. Assisting with literacy, numeracy, and creative activities
3. Helping children with SEND or additional needs (training provided)
4. Encouraging positive behaviour and building confidence
5. Immersing yourself in school life and gaining invaluable experience ahead of teaching, SEN, psychology or youth work pathways
What We’re Looking For:
6. A degree (2:2 or above)
7. A genuine interest in working with children
8. A proactive, patient and reliable personality
9. Previous experience with young people (tutoring, volunteering, coaching, youth work) is desirable but not essential
