Design and Technology Teacher Needed

Key Responsibilities for a Design and Technology Teacher:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in design and technology, focusing on both theoretical knowledge and practical skills
2. Teach a range of topics, including product design, engineering, CAD, electronics, materials science, and manufacturing techniques
3. Ensure students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills in design
4. Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages creativity and independent thought
5. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support their development
6. Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and inclusive learning space
7. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices
8. Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technological advancements
Requirements:
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
10. Strong knowledge and passion for design and technology, with the ability to teach both practical and theoretical content
11. Experience teaching Design and Technology at Key Stage 3 & 4 (KS3 & KS4), with the ability to adapt to different learning needs
12. Excellent communication and organizational skills
13. Ability to engage students and foster a love for design and innovation
14. A commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive classroom environment
15. Experience with CAD, engineering, and using technology in teaching is highly desirable
