Deputy Home Manager - Residential
Location: Townsend House, Headington, Oxfordshire
Contracted Hours: 37.50 hours per week
Pay Rate: £31,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday
Townsend House provides compassionate residential, early-stage dementia and respite care for 45 residents.
Responsibilities
* Support the Home Manager with the management of the Home.
* Rota planning, employee recruitment, induction and mandatory training to ensure residents’ needs are recognised, assessed and met where possible.
* Monitor and manage individual employee performance to uphold standards, addressing issues through the appropriate channels.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of a nurturing, engaging and rewarding environment for staff and residents.
About You (Qualifications & Experience)
* Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent); willing to work towards Level 4 or 5.
* Previous management experience in an elderly care setting; proactive team member.
* Some marketing and finance experience to help grow occupancy and manage costs.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Commitment to promoting and developing the highest standards of care.
