Overview
Our Dental Nurse Apprenticeship will support and provide you with the necessary Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours on your journey to becoming a GDC registered qualified dental nurse.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide the best patient care from the moment a patient walks into a practice until they leave.
* Support dental professionals and provide chair‑side assistance, enabling them to deliver high quality patient care.
* Assist with infection control, dental materials, emergency management, legislative compliance and general patient management.
* Develop clinical and professional skills while learning on the job.
Required Qualifications
* Full training will be provided; no prior dental experience required.
* Achieve a Level 3 qualification after completing an 18‑24 month training programme.
* Must attain level 2 English and Maths (equivalent to GCSE grades A‑C) before end‑point assessment, or provide evidence of attainment.
Work Hours
Full‑time (34.5 hours per week) across the following rota:
* Monday: 08:00‑17:30
* Tuesday: 08:00‑18:30
* Wednesday: 08:00‑17:30
* Thursday: 08:00‑17:30
* Friday: 08:00‑17:00
