Position
Location: Remote - Southeast or Southwest
Salary: From £32,000 plus a generous commission scheme
We are expanding in the Early Years sector and seek motivated, forward-thinking sales professionals to join our remote team as Business Development Managers (BDMs). You will be responsible for identifying new apprenticeship opportunities and generating starts aligned with targets, focusing on Early Years.
As an experienced sales professional, you will use your excellent communication skills, competitive edge, and confidence to secure new business, understand company values, and build lasting relationships with partners, positioning Paragon Skills as their provider of choice.
What will you be doing?
* Exceed KPIs and apprenticeship targets through new business and account management
* Identify new client opportunities within Early Years
* Create engagement plans to generate leads within SME organizations
* Demonstrate ROI for apprentices to highlight benefits
* Provide guidance on the Apprenticeship levy, supporting clients throughout the process
* Work consultatively with clients to develop tailored apprenticeship delivery models
* Build sustainable relationships with client contacts at all levels
* Coordinate with internal teams to communicate opportunities and ensure smooth onboarding
* Complete administrative tasks for learner sign-up
Requirements
What we need from you:
* Strong experience in apprenticeship sales, especially in Early Years (childcare/education)
* Proven success in meeting and exceeding targets
* Experience in nurturing relationships and managing accounts consultatively
* Ability to present to decision-makers in various environments
* Strong commercial acumen
* Effective time and resource management skills
* Excellent interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
* Creative, solutions-focused, and forward-thinking approach
* Passion for making a difference in the apprenticeship sector
* Proficient IT skills, including MS Office; CRM knowledge is a plus
* Flexibility to work hours as needed and travel overnight if required
