This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global household business owning well-known brands used daily. They seek an experienced and ambitious Procurement Manager to join their team.
The role reports to the Head of Category Management and manages key spend areas such as MRO, International Freight, Warehousing, Operational Spend, and Utilities. Candidates with a broad range of indirect category management experience are encouraged to apply.
Role and responsibilities:
* Develop strategies and ensure delivery and performance, including annualized savings
* Create group-wide category plans aligning with company objectives, leveraging supplier relationships
* Engage and influence senior stakeholders from Directors to Board members using strong market insights
* Build relationships with key stakeholders to monitor supplier performance
* Monitor supplier risk and performance via reporting tools and feedback
* Act as a procurement role model, embodying company values and promoting procurement excellence
* Oversee strategic projects, ensuring optimal service delivery and cost efficiency
Experience and requirements:
* Experience in indirect procurement within large, complex organizations
* Preferred categories include Warehousing, International Freight, MRO, Logistics & Operations
* Private sector procurement experience, preferably in a global company
* Experience managing complex international projects with Tier 1 & 2 suppliers
* Ability to influence senior stakeholders across regions
* Strategic approach to procurement and supplier management
* Excellent communication skills across cultures and countries
* Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
* MCIPS qualification is desirable but not essential
