Teacher of Science.
Required for September 2026.
The Governing Body is seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic Science teacher to join our outstanding Science department. The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher or have the potential to become an excellent teacher in the very near future. The successful candidate must be able to teach Science to at least GCSE level.
Cardinal Newman Catholic School is an 11-16 mixed Voluntary Aided school, with 989 pupils currently on roll. The school is over-subscribed. The school has an excellent reputation for both our academic results and our pastoral care. The school regularly outperforms other schools in the local authorities that we serve. We annually achieve 400+ Average Capped Nine points and at least 75% of our pupils achieve five GCSEs including Maths and English. In 2025 our results for the Capped Nine Points Score was 413 and 76% achieved five GCSEs including Maths and English. Science average points score was 44 with 81% achieving A*-C.
