Aria Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Gildawood Court, a 60‑beded Residential, Dementia and Palliative Care Home in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. With a CQC rating of ‘Good’ and high ratings on Carehome.co.uk, this role offers the chance to support residents and staff, foster teamwork, and encourage professional growth.
Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality care and support to residents, ensuring their needs are met.
* Supervise and coordinate the care team, maintaining a positive and inclusive environment.
* Promote and model best practice in patient care, safety and hygiene.
* Encourage team development and provide constructive feedback.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families and external agencies.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience as a Senior Care Assistant or in a similar leadership role within a care setting.
* Relevant qualification in health and social care (e.g., NVQ or diploma).
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or appropriate professional body.
* Compassionate, empathetic, and respectful approach to care.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Growth mindset and willingness to support staff development.
