Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work within SEN primary schools across Romsey, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant in an SEN primary setting, you will:
* Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Support children with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
* Assist the class teacher with tailored learning activities
* Promote a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment
* Support pupils with both academic and emotional development
Requirements
* Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
* Experience with SEN is desirable but not essential
* A patient, caring, and resilient approach
* Driving preferred but not necessary
