Salary: £28,837 - £32,445 per annum

Overview
At Chesterfield College, we are enhancing the transition support that we provide to students who have disabilities. We are looking for someone who can apply their understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, barriers to learning, Further Education and careers. The successful candidate will play a key role in giving our students the best start, and then support them to progress towards positive opportunities beyond college.
Responsibilities
* Carry out school engagement, personalised transition planning and coordination.
* Contribute to the EHCP consultation process.
* Engage with students, families and relevant stakeholders, serving as the key point of contact for students with EHCPs prior to starting college.
* Manage a caseload of EHCP students.
* Collaborate with SEND and Quality Teams regarding emerging staff training needs.
* Line manage Specialist Learning Support Assistants.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered, you should have an understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, barriers to learning, Further Education and careers, and experience in transition support.
