We are currently seeking an organised and professional individual to join our team in an Accounts Payable role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail to contribute to a wide range of finance and administrative responsibilities within a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Key duties will include:
* Register incoming purchase invoices, matching to GRNs and purchase orders, ensuring all discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
* Maintain purchase invoice register and file purchase ledger documentation electronically
* Reconcile monthly supplier statements to the purchase ledger and investigate any discrepancies with suppliers
* Produce weekly and monthly supplier payment run for review
* Request commercial invoices in relation to proforma invoice payments
* Monitor accounts email inbox and forward emails to appropriate folder/person for action
* Maintain the financial filing system and ensure all documentation is collected in line with industry standards.
* Provide holiday cover to Process expenses
* Any other duties that may arise
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role within manufacturing or construction and will demonstrate a professional, proactive approach with exceptional planning and organisational skills. Strong verbal communication and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments are essential. Candidates must also possess excellent IT and numerical skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to perform well under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
