Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Intune Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimising mobile device management solutions using Microsoft Intune, ensuring seamless integration with various operating systems and cloud services. Duties
* Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Intune configurations to support enterprise mobility management strategies.
* Integrate Intune with other cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS to optimise device security and compliance.
* Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash (Unix shell), and Shell Scripting to streamline device provisioning and management processes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy policies across Windows, Linux, UNIX, and macOS devices.
* Configure and manage VPNs, APIs, and other connectivity solutions to ensure secure remote access for users.
* Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues related to operating systems, virtualization, and network connectivity.
* Maintain documentation of system configurations, updates, and procedures in line with SDLC best practices.
* Support DevOps initiatives by integrating Intune with CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
Experience
* Proven experience in managing Microsoft Intune within enterprise environments.
* Strong understanding of operating systems including Windows, Linux, UNIX, and macOS.
* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
* Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware and related infrastructure components.
* Knowledge of scripting languages including PowerShell, Bash (Unix shell), Shell Scripting, Python, Java, SQL, Oracle databases, and APIs integration.
* Experience working within IT environments that utilise VPNs for secure remote connectivity.
* Understanding of SDLC processes for deploying enterprise solutions effectively.
* Prior exposure to DevOps practices is advantageous but not essential. This role is ideal for a proactive IT professional eager to utilise their expertise in a challenging environment that values innovation and continuous improvement.

Pay: £19.27-£23.55 per hour
