What youll be doing Carrying out groundwork and civil engineering tasks, including trenching, precast concrete works, and general site preparation Operating a variety of plant equipment (e.g., excavator, dumper, roller, telehandler) Supporting the Site Manager and Site Supervisor with day-to-day operations Supervising work squads when required and reporting any defects or safety concerns Ensuring all work complies with RAMS, permits, and company procedures Reading and understanding site drawings and documentation Upholding high standards of safety and workmanship across all tasks Travelling to sites nationwide as required Experience & qualifications were looking for Valid CSCS card Relevant plant operation tickets (e.g., excavator, dumper, roller, banksman/traffic marshall, slinger/signaller, abrasive wheels, face fit) Proven experience in civils, groundworks, or infrastructure installation Strong understanding of fencing systems, including electric and access-control fencing (advantageous but not essential) Good organisational and communication skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Full UK driving licence (essential) This role requires a 5-year work history check, basic disclosure, financial check, and drug & alcohol screening.
