Operating across multiple sites, the business is known for its collaborative culture and commitment to maintaining high financial standards during a period of increased activity.
Role Overview:
This Interim Financial Accountant position offers an excellent opportunity to join a small, dedicated finance team and make an immediate impact. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, with a particular focus on reconciliations across the business.
Responsibilities of the Interim Financial Accountant:
* Perform detailed bank reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and resolving variances
* Complete balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are accurate and fully supported
* Reconcile supplier and customer accounts, identifying and resolving inconsistencies
* Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to address and resolve financial queries
Requirements of the Interim Financial Accountant:
* AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA part-qualified, or qualified by experience
* Strong background in reconciliations within a commercial finance environment
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy
