Operations Coordinator | Out of Hours | Permanent
Salary:£18.31 per hour plus bank holidays
Location: Letchworth
Hours: Saturday & Sunday shifts between 08:00am - 18:00pm, 18 hours a week including all bank holidays

We seek a dedicated Operations Coordinator to support our growth and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator who enjoys coordinating team activities to ensure streamlined operations and excellent customer service.
You will build strong relationships with staff and clients, acting as the go-to person for designing and delivering effective operations with couriers and suppliers.
Main responsibilities include:
* Answering phone lines promptly and professionally
* Arranging collections, transit routes, and deliveries
* Tracking events for bookings and consignments
* Coordinating with Operations and Imports departments to meet SLA transit times
* Providing updates to customers on exceptions or issues
* Requesting and entering PODs from agents
* Reporting discrepancies to managers
* Providing quotes to customers upon request
* Monitoring Service Centre emails
* Working with suppliers to ensure high-quality customer experience
Ideal candidate qualities:
* Experience in dispatching vehicles or vehicle allocation
* Respectful treatment of people at all times
* Prompt and appropriate responses to customer and supplier needs
* Ensuring jobs are collected and delivered on time
* Handling client queries effectively and informing clients of outcomes
* Proactive suggestions for service improvement
* Skilled listening and empathetic understanding of customer relationships
* Ability to self-motivate and work independently
