Senior Engineer – Concrete

About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Engineer with specialized expertise in concrete design, construction, and performance. You’ll be a key technical leader, providing guidance across a range of projects involving structural concrete, precast elements, and innovative construction techniques. From concept to completion, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, durability, and success of our work.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design, specification, and implementation of concrete structures and systems
* Oversee quality control and testing of concrete mixes and materials
* Collaborate with architects, project managers, and construction teams to ensure technical excellence
* Perform structural assessments and provide solutions for concrete repair and retrofitting
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement in best practices
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and sustainability goals
What We’re Looking For
* Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline
* Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is highly desirable
* Minimum 4+ years’ experience in concrete engineering
* Strong understanding of Eurocodes, BS standards, or equivalent
* Experience with reinforced, prestressed, or precast concrete systems
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
