About the Role
We are seeking an Audit Assistant Manager to manage and deliver high-quality audits for a diverse client portfolio. This role offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your audit skills and gain exposure across various industries, including large corporates, owner-managed businesses, academy schools, and charities.
The role supports hybrid working, allowing you to work from our modern office, home, or client sites, with a focus on flexibility and excellent client service.
Beyond daily responsibilities, there are opportunities to advance to Manager through involvement in business development and management training.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the delivery of larger audits and projects.
* Managing a small client portfolio, adding value through your knowledge and skills.
* Ensuring audit quality and complete audit files.
* Planning audit requirements and managing timelines and budgets.
* Acting as the main contact for clients and maintaining strong relationships.
* Liaising with Audit Partners and providing regular updates.
* Coaching and developing junior team members, including performance reviews.
* Participating in business development and networking activities.
About You
* ACA/ACCA Qualified
* Experience managing various audit assignments
* Excellent communication skills and relationship-building abilities
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* A team player committed to contributing to Bishop Fleming's success
* Full driving license and access to transport
