Job Title: Civil Engineering Assessor/Trainer 📍 Location: Cambridgeshire (field-based) 💰 Salary: Up to £34,500 per annum 🕒 Contract: Full-time, Permanent The Role: We're looking for a Civil Engineering Assessor/Trainer to support apprentices in the workplace as they work towards Level 3 and 4 qualifications. This is a field-based role focused purely on assessment and coaching - no classroom teaching involved. Key Responsibilities: Conduct workplace assessments and reviews for civil engineering apprentices. Support learners with portfolios, evidence gathering, and EPA preparation. Monitor and record progress using digital systems. Liaise with employers to ensure effective on-the-job training. Requirements: Industry experience in civil engineering (e.g. highways, drainage, site work). Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/BTEC Level 3+ in Civil Engineering). Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA), or willingness to achieve. Full UK driving licence and own transport.
