Job Description
We're looking for Community Managers to build and sustain a thriving cross-government community of practice around AI coding tools. You'll connect practitioners across departments, facilitate knowledge sharing, and help drive adoption from early experimentation to confident daily use.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and grow the community: Identify and engage developers, architects, and technical leads across central government who are using or interested in AI coding tools. Create channels, forums, and touchpoints that bring people together.
* Facilitate knowledge sharing: Organise and run events including show-and-tells, lunch-and-learns, Q&A sessions, and online discussions. Surface and amplify success stories, tips, and practical insights from across the community.
* Support adoption: Help practitioners move from awareness to active use. Identify and address barriers, connect people with the right resources, and celebrate progress.
* Identify and enable champions: Spot enthusiastic early adopters and help them become advocates within their own teams and departments.
* Curate and communicate: Produce regular communications (newsletters, digests, updates) that keep the community informed and engaged. Make guidance and resources easy to find and understand.
* Feed insights back: Gather and synthesise feedback from practitioners about what's working, what's blocking progress, and what's needed. Ensure the programme team has the intelligence they need to adapt.
