The below job description will outline this position of: Fabricator/Welder Typically, this person will be responsible for carrying out aluminium fabrication and welding tasks to a high standard, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on time. Our Client will look at just Fabricators or Welders or someone who can do both. HSB Technical’s client is an established and well-regarded business entity. Duties and responsibilities of the Fabricator/Welder: Prepare, cut, and form aluminium components ready for fabrication. If you are a welder you need to be able to work on 2.5Mil plate. Assemble and align parts with accuracy to specified tolerances. Carry out high-quality MIG/TIG welding in line with engineering requirements. Grind, dress, and finish welds for strength and a clean appearance. Build sub-assemblies and integrate them into main structures. Safely operate and maintain fabrication and welding equipment. Promote and uphold health, safety, and environmental standards. Qualifications and requirements for the Fabricator/Welder: Previous experience in aluminium fabrication and welding. Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work. Strong team player with a positive and proactive attitude. Able to use initiative and remain focused on results. Clear communicator, resilient, and self-assured.
