An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Licensed Conveyancer, ideally with 5 years' PQE, to step into a leadership role within a highly regarded and expanding law firm. This role is suited to a commercially minded and proactive professional who is keen to manage their own caseload, mentor junior colleagues and play a key part in the continued growth and success of the Residential Property department. Applicants must hold and maintain a Licensed Conveyancer qualification to be considered for this position. Key Responsibilities Managing a full caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases and re-mortgages, with minimal supervision Providing clear, pragmatic legal advice while delivering consistently high standards of client care Supervising, mentoring and developing junior team members, including involvement in training, coaching and performance reviews Achieving agreed personal and departmental billing targets Ensuring matters progress efficiently, with clients kept regularly informed on timescales and costs Maintaining compliance with SRA and Law Society regulations, the Solicitors Accounts Rules and all firm policies and procedures Overseeing effective file management and diary control to ensure timely completions Managing credit control on personal files in close collaboration with the accounts team Driving business development activity and identifying growth opportunities alongside the Head of Department and senior leadership Representing the department internally and externally, upholding the firm's values and professional reputation Leadership and Strategic Contribution Taking an active role in the strategic development of the Residential Property team and the wider firm Working with partners and senior management to identify and implement process and service improvements Supporting firm-wide marketing initiatives and client relationship management strategies Encouraging and contributing to the ongoing development of junior colleagues through mentoring and in-house training Requirements Licensed Conveyancer qualification (must be maintained) Proven experience managing a busy residential property caseload independently Previous supervisory or team leadership experience (highly desirable) Strong mentoring, coaching and team-building skills with a positive and supportive leadership style What's on Offer Competitive salary with bonus structure A leadership role within a respected and growing law firm Ongoing training and professional development Supportive, collaborative working environment Flexible and hybrid working arrangements Clear and genuine opportunities for career progression Apply Now If you are ready to take the next step in your residential property career and lead within a professional, client-focused firm, apply today or contact Rachael Atherton at G2 Legal for a confidential discussion.
