Pensions Transition Manager
Buckinghamshire | Up to £60,000 + bonus | 35-hour week
An exciting opportunity to join a growing Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) business at a pivotal stage of its development.
We’re recruiting an experienced Bulk Annuity Transition Manager to lead the successful delivery of buy-in and buy-out transitions for defined benefit pension schemes. This is a high-impact role, working closely with trustees, advisers and administrators to ensure schemes are onboarded smoothly and to a high standard.
The role
You’ll take ownership of end-to-end BPA transition projects, from deal execution through to post-buy-in activity.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing buy-in and buy-out transitions, including true-ups
* Building and driving detailed project plans
* Managing relationships with trustees, EBCs and ceding administrators
* Representing the business in trustee and adviser meetings
* Ensuring operational readiness for new scheme transitions
* Supporting contractual and individual policy documentation
* Identifying, managing and escalating risks and issues
* Keeping up to date with BPA market and regulatory developments
