To be able to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings Mark out sections and components in line with detailed drawings prior to assembly Working to the companiesHealth & Safety requirements Understand and work to client specifications Keeping work area clean and tidy Welding Responsibilities: Welders to work on mild / stainless steel of varying grades and thicknesses marked up with weld details.
Types of welding will be fillet welding and butt welding consisting of both full penetration and partial penetration joints.
Welding in both down hand and in position.
Predominantly using the MIG / MAGwelding processes. xxuwjjq
Successful applicants will be expected to adhere to governing welding procedure specifications, To have a good knowledge of all aspects of welding operations such as application of preheat, control of interpass temperatures etc, and generally a good knowledge surrounding the process.
