MTrecs new career opportunityOur market-leading clients are now looking to recruit a Panel Beater on a temporary- permanent basis.The Job youll doPanel Repair: Straighten dents, shape metal, and repair damaged body panels using specialised tools.Component Replacement: Remove and replace severely damaged panels, interior trim, and exterior parts.Welding & Bonding: Execute precision MIG/TIG welding, spot welding, and structural panel bonding.Preparation for Paint: Sand, fill, prime, and smooth surfaces to guarantee a seamless finish for the paint team.Alignment Checks: Use jigs and measuring devices to check chassis alignment and ensure structural integrity.Quality Control: Self-inspect all completed repairs to eliminate defects and maintain strict cosmetic standards.Documentation: Accurately log completed tasks and report additional vehicle damage found during teardown.About YouExperience: Proven history as a Panel Technician within a busy automotive workshop or Bodyshop.Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or ATA qualification in Vehicle Body Repair is highly preferred.Certifications: Active Welding or Panel Bonding certifications are strong advantages.Driving Licence: A valid, clean UK driving licence is typically required to manoeuvre auction stock.The Rewards and the BenefitsCompetitive pay.Opportunity for the role to be made permanent.TPBN1_UKTJ
