About The Role
Please note that there are full-time and part-time hours available, working 8am - 8pm (38.5 hours per week) or 2.30pm - 10pm (24.5 hours per week). Full flexibility is required.
As a Care Assistant at HC-One, you’ll value kindness above all. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories.
Joining HC-One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to our residents.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our team. Whether providing long-term or short-term, convalescence, respite, or palliative care, our focus remains on delivering the highest quality service.
Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents. This includes assisting with personal care such as washing, hygiene, dressing, and meals.
Deliver care that comes from the heart, ensuring residents maintain their dignity and individuality. Engage in activities within the care home, support those with limited mobility, provide emotional support to distressed residents, or care for those at the end of life, always prioritizing their well-being.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All staff must attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and seek advice or escalate concerns as needed.
