Location: Salisbury

Salary: Unqualified Lecturer: £29,294 Qualified Lecturer: £31,885 - £40,814 per year (Depending on Skills, Qualifications & Experience)

What We Offer
Salary:

Unqualified Lecturer: £29,294

Qualified Lecturer: £31,885 - £40,814 per year (Depending on Skills, Qualifications & Experience)

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time – 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

What You’ll Do
• Teach and assess learners across a range of English programmes, including GCSE and Functional Skills
• Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that build literacy, comprehension, and communication skills
• Support learners with varying abilities, including those who may lack confidence in English
• Use creative and practical approaches to make English relevant to real-life contexts
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, professionalism, and learner wellbeing
• Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement

What You’ll Bring
• A relevant English qualification (Level 3 or above)
• Strong subject knowledge, including literacy, language, and/or literature
• The ability to explain concepts clearly and engage learners of all abilities
• Experience working with learners or supporting others in education or training
• Primary or secondary school teaching experience is advantageous
• A commitment to inclusive teaching and learner success
• A teaching qualification is welcomed — but if you don’t have one yet, we’ll support you to achieve it while you work
