The Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will: Deliver pre‑planned lessons across KS3 and KS4 Maintain a calm, purposeful and engaging classroom environment Support behaviour management in line with school policies Supervise classes across a range of subjects Offer additional support to students with SEN or additional learning needs Encourage positive engagement and build strong relationships with students This is a fantastic stepping‑stone into teaching, providing essential classroom experience highly valued by teacher training providers. The Ideal Candidate We are keen to hear from individuals who have: Experience working with secondary‑aged students (e.g. youth work, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, classroom assistance) Confidence managing groups and adapting to different lessons The ability to support students with SEN and additional needs Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport A proactive, enthusiastic and resilient approach A genuine passion for helping young people succeed Graduates from all subject backgrounds and unqualified educators are warmly encouraged to apply.
