Overview
As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be visiting customers in their homes across Yeovil and surrounding areas, diagnosing and repairing appliance issues to get them up and running again. You will manage your time, keep customers and colleagues updated on progress, and maintain stock levels in your van day‑by‑day.
Responsibilities
* Visit customers at their homes to diagnose and repair appliance issues.
* Maintain accurate timekeeping, update customers and colleagues on progress.
* Manage and keep track of stock levels in your service van.
* Communicate with team members to coordinate support and parts.
Qualifications
* Full, valid driving licence.
* Experience as a White Goods Engineer is preferred but not required; self‑motivation and strong technical and customer‑service skills are essential.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.

* Starting salary £33,903 per annum; potential to earn £38,423 once fully trained and meeting minimum requirements.

Health & Safety
The role requires lifting and manoeuvring heavy objects, working in restricted spaces, hand dexterity and colour vision. Candidates will be tested to ensure they can comply with basic health and safety requirements, including the ability to distinguish between live, neutral and earth wires.
