Role: Business Analyst Location:?Bournemouth, UK (?5 days per week in the office) Type: Permanent Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in financial message formats, particularly IDOC and EDIFACT. The candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring smooth integration, migration, and validation of financial messaging systems. Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering: Work with business stakeholders to capture and document requirements related to financial messaging. Message Format Expertise: Analyze, validate, and design solutions involving IDOC and EDIFACT file formats. Integration Support: Collaborate with developers and integration teams to ensure accurate mapping and transformation of financial messages. Testing & Validation: Support QA/UAT teams by preparing test cases, validating message flows, and ensuring compliance with financial standards. Documentation: Create functional specifications, process flows, and mapping documents for financial messaging. Stakeholder Communication: Act as the liaison between business users, IT teams, and external vendors. Compliance & Standards: Ensure solutions adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Continuous Improvement: Recommend process enhancements and automation opportunities in financial messaging workflows. Required Skills & Experience 78 years of Business Analyst experience in financial services or enterprise integration. Strong knowledge of IDOC and EDIFACT formats. Experience with financial messaging standards Familiarity with integration tools Hands-on experience in requirements documentation, gap analysis, and functional specifications. Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies .
