You will be responsible for preparing quality control (QC) samples and helping the Senior staff to analyse QC charts and data. A strong eye for detail is crucial, as you will also be reviewing QC data and ensuring any failures are identified, recorded and investigated. This is a varied role, encompassing both laboratory and administrative duties. You will collaborate with the Chemistry, Microbiology, and Sampling teams, providing ample opportunities to expand your overall laboratory knowledge. If you want to be at the heart of the action, apply now. Main responsibilities: Preparing Quality Control (QC) solutions for laboratory and sampling teams following company procedures. Entering external proficiency testing (PT) scheme results onto scheme websites and internal trend spreadsheets. Assisting the Quality Manager and Senior Quality Analyst in reviewing QC data and charts. Reviewing internal QC and external PT data to ensure all failures are identified, recorded, and investigated. Assisting with reviews of bias investigations to ensure accuracy and compliance. Performing internal audits in alignment with ISO 17025 and company requirements. Maintaining up-to-date equipment and chemical registers for the quality department. Collaborating with teams across Microbiology, Chemistry, and Sampling to resolve quality-related issues. Calibrating equipment such as thermometers, timers, pipettes, and balances to ensure operational accuracy. You'll need: Qualifications / Skills / Experience Level 3 qualification in a scientific subject is a minimum requirement. A degree in a scientific field is preferred. Some prior experience in a laboratory setting. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
