To provide consistently high standards of service at all times, including welcoming customers to the venue, taking and processing orders (ePOS), answering queries, and providing information on the menu and food/drink, including allergy information.
To prepare, present, and serve food and drinks (including alcoholic drinks from the Bar), ensuring all food/drink products are attractively displayed and presented, with consideration and compliance with Food Safety and Licensing requirements.
Preparing the Café for service, serving orders to customer tables, keeping customer tables, counters, and service area surfaces clean and tidy, working across all areas of the Café & Bar, and managing opening/closing processes.

We are looking for a friendly, approachable, professional, and customer-focused Customer Service Assistant to work as part of a small team. The successful candidate must have a passion for customer service across all aspects of Café & Bar service and Front of House, work with and support other team members, and be able to support and cover for the Barista/Supervisor.
This role is customer service-focused; therefore, the ideal candidate will maintain a positive outlook, be friendly, approachable, and customer-focused at all times, and work across different areas within the Café & Bar. The role holder must have a can-do attitude and work as part of a team to give customers an exceptional experience and support the business in achieving or exceeding its financial targets. This role will also provide cover for the Barista/Supervisor.

Working hours: This full-time role (36.25 hours per week) involves a variable shift rota to cover weekdays and weekends in line with opening times. Current opening times are: Monday - Closed; Tuesday to Thursday - 08:00 to 20:00; Friday - 08:00 to 21:00; Saturday - 09:00 to 20:00.
