RG consultancy are working with a growing manufacturer based in Rochdale who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop as there is future progression opportunities available.
Duties include:
* General ledger reconciliations
* Accruals & pre-payments
* Monthly preparation and reconciliation.
* Fixed Assets and depreciation
* Monthly and annual review.
* Assist with management account preparation ahead of reporting on the fifth working day of each month.
* Sales analysis and investigation
* Forecasting - monthly forecasting of sales, cost of sales and cash flow.
* Budgeting - annual review, reconciliation and investigation of sales, cost of sales and cash flow.
* Report generation (internal & external).
* Production costing and stock valuations.
* Production variance investigation.
* Liaise with all parties both internal staff and external contracts at all levels, to resolve all aspects of the job.
* Ensure closure of General Ledger within four working days of month end.
