The Employment Team
Our award-winning Employment team is led by Divisional Head Sally Morris and works closely with Partner Darryll Thomas. The team operates from multiple offices with plans for regional expansion. You will be based in Worcester, enjoying flexible hybrid working tailored to client needs, with full support from the team and introduction to existing clients.
Day-to-day Success:
We seek a dedicated Employment Solicitor (5-8 years PQE) to grow within our dynamic division, handling a broad range of employment cases for both employers and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert employment advice to clients.
* Handle TUPE, redundancy, and transfer of undertakings matters.
* Negotiate and draft settlement agreements.
* Advise on workplace disputes, confidentiality breaches, and restrictive covenants.
* Draft employment contracts and staff handbooks.
* Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
* Negotiate with opposing counsel and parties.
* Collaborate on case strategies and contribute to business development.
* Mentor junior team members.
Requirements:
* 5-8 years PQE in Employment Law.
* Experience with employment tribunal claims and complex cases.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
* Team-oriented and proactive in business development.
