About the Role:

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Business Support Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a varied and evolving role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across multiple business functions—including accounts, customer service, and warehousing .

As a key support to our operations, you will have the opportunity to grow with the business, taking on new challenges and responsibilities over time. If you're a proactive problem-solver with a broad skill set and a willingness to adapt, we'd love to hear from you!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accounts & Finance:

* Assist with bookkeeping, invoicing, and expense tracking.
* Process supplier/customer payments and reconcile accounts.
* Support payroll and basic financial reporting.

Customer Service:

* Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
* Manage orders, returns, and resolve issues promptly.
* Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

Warehousing & Logistics:

* Support inventory management, stock checks, and order fulfilment.
* Assist with the dispatch/receiving of goods and maintain warehouse organisation.
* Operate basic equipment and follow safety protocols.

Additional Duties:

* Identify process improvements and contribute to operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with teams across the business as needed.
* Assist with exhibitions / training events as needed.
* Take on new tasks as the role develops.

KEY SKILLS:

* Experience - Proven experience in accounts/finance, customer service, and/or warehousing.
* Experience within the orthopaedic footwear or orthotics market is preferred but not essential.
* Strong organizational, prioritizing and multitasking abilities.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
* Health & Safety knowledge – good understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends and evenings to meet operational needs.

Licenses, registrations and qualifications:Full clean driving license required.
