Job Description
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools and colleges across Sheffield and Chesterfield for the upcoming summer term. Starting in May 2026, you will play a vital role in ensuring that internal and mock examinations run smoothly and in line with strict JCQ regulations.
What We Offer:
* Competitive Hourly Rates: Earn approximately £14.50 per hour (paid weekly via PAYE).
* Flexible Working Hours: Perfect for retired professionals, university students, or anyone seeking part-time work that fits around other commitments. Typical shifts are between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
* Comprehensive Training: No previous experience is necessary as we provide free, full training and induction prior to your first assignment.
* Dedicated Support: You will have a personal consultant at our Sheffield office to guide you through the registration and placement process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting up examination rooms and ensuring all necessary materials are in place.
* Supervising students throughout the duration of the exam to maintain a calm and secure environment.
* Distributing and collecting exam papers and materials securely.
* Ensuring students adhere to exam rules, preventing talking, cheating, or conferring.
* Reporting any irregularities or misconduct to the Exams Officer.
Requirements:
* A calm, professional, and observant approach.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex procedures precisely.
* Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role.
* An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one through Tradewind).
* Legal right to work in the UK.
* 2 references covering the last 2 years
